Welcome to Career EXCELerate Wisconsin, a highly personalized program to help individuals interested in developing job skills and growing a career. 

This comprehensive career-training program is offered at no cost to individuals who want an opportunity to find a career pathway that will help them launch a lasting career but are struggling and would benefit from individualized support. 

Career EXCELerate Wisconsin provides students with:

• Career skills, coaching and resume building
• Technical training within eight highly in-demand career pathways
• Assistance finding employment at a local workplace upon completion
• Support services provided throughout training and for the first year of employment
• Connection to resources for childcare, transportation and housing

Career Educational Certificate Options

Certificate programs range from approximately two weeks to two semesters depending on career paths.

How it Works

Connecting

A prospective student can either be referred by a local agency or apply for one of the educational certificate options by

Understanding your interests:

The program specialist will meet with the prospective student to

• Understand career interests.

• Offer skills-training opportunities.

• Identify any resources needed for a student to participate and be successful in completing the program.

The goal of the program is to ensure that participants have all the tools needed to navigate their pathway.
